Drop Down Problem

I have a excel file with 2 sheet. Let assume we only have One kind of client.

Problem:
How to display only uinque value oin dropdown . Drop down must show CLIENT TYPE if we add new client type in Worksheet 2
How to show/display data in excel according to DropDown list data.

Unless I am missing something, there are two versions of the formulae that you are asking about that can be shortened to the following which may be easier for you to follow.

I again do the this exercise myself .But stocked in final step.



1. Cell Y does not Updating itself if there is any changing in Cell J..(in 3rd Worksheet 3. BC )
2. How to display only unqiue data in DropDown menu ( in 1s worksheet . 1.Quote)
3. In Dropdown (Client Type) there are EMPTY value . How to only display Client Type)

This should take you part way. I adjusted the ranges covered by the Data Validation ranges for the Drop Down Lists, created a new list for unique client name, a unique list will be developed for client type. I don't have the time to go further but I think that there is a possibility of creating the Data Validation lists in another more convenient way but that will take time to see how your workbook actually works and I just don't have the time at the moment.

I had add dropdown box (VBA) . I select some option from dropdown and excel shows datas related to data (Dropdown). I go to another sheet .And again return to same sheet (dropdown ) But now all data are gone. Again i have to select data from dropdown.

is there any way to keep those data as it is? so that even i come from anotehr sheet, data are still there?

I select dropdown option in 2nd worksheet .I go 1st sheet and comeback to 2nd sheet .But data are gone in SHeet 2
