Cool Copy only specific cells from Column A, and paste them to Column B, but with no blanks

    Hi,

I wish to copy certain cells from a column and paste them to another column with the new column not having any blanks between the

Using the example below.. I wish to copy the "blue" results in Column A, and paste them in Column B but just leaving with "blue" results AND no blanks/spaces between the rows!

    Column A

    Red
    Blue
    Red
    Red
    Blue
    Blue

    Column B
    Blue
    Blue
    Blue

(column B is just showing the "blue" results with no spaces/blanks between the rows)

    I hope this makes sense!

    Any help would be great,

    Kapil

Hi, and welcome to the forum,

One way would be to filter the list for Blue values, copy the filtered values and paste them to column B then remove the filter.

Is there a way of doing this without filtering? I should have mentioned that I didn't want to use the filter tool!

    Thanks

I just want to show all the info I need in one list (perhaps using a formula or VBA?) and without the use of filters.. Is this feasible?

OK so it sounds like you don't want to do the filtering manually.

Nevertheless why not use the filtering method but with a macro?

    Something like

    Hi

Just modify the macro to filter on column B and Copy column A to C1.

Also please try and avoid drip feeding modifications. State everything that's relevant in your first post so that we don't waste time revisiting questions.
