    VLOOKUP if cell contains value

Hi there, I am familiar with VLOOKUP - but I need to do a VLOOKUP based on a word or words that is contained within the cell, but might not be an exact match.

For instance, I want to VLOOKUP the value "apple" in column A and return value in Column C.

But say for instance in column A only the cell "apple h" is found. My VLOOKUP will give a N/A - is it is possible to tweak the VLOOKUP to find this example as it contains the word I require - perhaps using the FIND function somehow??
