Loses Encryption on extracting from zip

    Good Morning

I have some software that generates multiple excel files and saves them down encrypted and in a .zip file. This is fine and when I access the zipped files it asks me for the password, but when I extract the files from .zip it somehow manages to lose the password protection.

Does anyone know how to stop the extraction process from losing the encryption, or how to re-encrypt a substantial number of excel files at the same time?

    Many thanks

    Kez
