Margins to remain the same when opening the file in different versions of excel

I created an excel template in 2010 but when the file is opened in 2013, the page margins are not the same. Meaning the template is nicely formated to fit one page in 2010 but the data extends to page 2 in 2013. The margins are set the same in both versions, just the data does not conform to the page in 2013.

Does anyone know a solution to keep the same format when opened in 2013? I understand you can adjust the margins or print to one page, but I am looking for a solution where the file can be opened and no adjustments need to be made.

    Thanks for your help!

Are we talking about 2 different versions of excel on teh same machine, or on different machines?

Are the printer drivers on both computers the same version?

I'm not 100% sure but can check tomorrow . It is a template I created for roughly 20 or so users. Some are on the same printer while a few are not. If the problem is the printer driver, I will assume there probably isn't a solution with the users who have a different printer?

If the drivers are up to date (same version) for each printer on each computer, you shouldn't have a problem as Office programs take the print capabilities from the installed drivers.

Thank you for your help! I will have everyone check their printers drivers and update the thread tomorrow.
