    Matching/Comparing Data from 2 Tables

Hello excel gurus! Looking for a way to work smarter not harder with a few large sets of data that I need comparing. See the attached example to help understand my need for assistance. I'm trying to find a way to compare values in 2 sets of tables and return results found in one table that has the matching value.

I'm sure that sounds confusing so open the attached spreadsheet and view my 2 data sets in Table 1 & Table 2. *these data sets can and will be in pretty random order, hopefully that won't effect our solution.

I need to find the matching names in table 2 and output another table that consist of both State & Value alongside each name.

If the name cannot be found I don't mind how its outputted in table 3. I'd prefer that "N/A" or some other indicator is attached to the name that can't be found in the compared table but if we can only make the solution work by completely omitting non matches then i'm okay with that too.

Hopefully that's descriptive enough let me know if more clarity is needed. Thanks for the suggestions, thanks for the website!

Assuming you can copy the names from one of the original tables, and there are no duplicate names, VLOOKUP works
