Where exactly is the mistake? You mean the months? If so, you just need to stretch the graph.
No, for the 2-yr financing chart, the numbers in the table and the numbers plotted on the graph are different. For the 1-yr financing chart, the numbers plot correctly even though I used the same method to create the two graphs.
You mean that you do not want it to be (a blue line) cumulative linear as it is now?
Just change chart type for this data series.
Best Regards,
Kaper
If you made the graph correctly, that should not be possible. Point an exact position in the graph where the mistake is. Which color and which position is incorrect?
PS. this thread is probably better suited for http://www.excelforum.com/excel-charting-and-pivots/ forum
@bmouse - see screenshot with wrond chart type for 2yr

No, the graph in 2-yr Financing is not reflecting the correct numbers.
Sounds impossible. Are you sure the data is correct?
If you go to 2-yr financing chart and put your cursor at the lowest point on the blue line, it says the data point is -2971. However, if you look at the secondary axis on the right, it shows positive and not negative.
It says 2971 not -2971
No, it says (2971) or -2971. If you Select Data and go to the underlying figures on Tab Sheet1, you can also see that it is a negative number.
Apparently the graph interface does not understand the (????) format. That and you do not have any negative numbers in your graph data for 1-yr financing (I assume the numbers come from columns G and H), otherwise you would have the same problem.
I don't know about the Charting errors.
@ kaylagarcia: I feel for you
@ L.LEE: Can't you use regular negative numbers or you have that format for specific reasons? That might solved your problems.
@ kaylagarcia - please observe rule 2 in: http://www.excelforum.com/forum-rule...rum-rules.html
@ L.LEE: have you examined the workbook I posted above. And change from "cumulative linear" to "linear" - in my opinion lines do reflect data.
Please note, that lowest blue point is out of the bonds of the graph. You can adjust formatting of secondary axis to automatic start and end values.

Dear All
After recreating the graph, it now shows the negative value correctly. Thanks for all your assistance.
