I was assisted to achieve the following index lookup based on the attached document. It turns out I actually need to be able to achieve any other matches as well, as their are several many-to-many relationships in my file.
Here's what I've got thus far, to get the first/primary match: =IFERROR(INDEX('Alix IDs'!$A$2:$A$7,MATCH("*"&$A2&"*",'Alix IDs'!$B$2:$B$5,0)),INDEX('Alix IDs'!$A$2:$A$7,MATCH($A2,'Alix IDs'!$B$2:$B$5,0)))
I need to know how to get the index lookup to include all matches of a respective ID, in one final cell.
So if I want the equation to show me all the AlixIDs associated with the FeatureID, from another tab, and there are 3 names in the other tab for that ID (in different rows), how do I get them to populate in one cell, one after the next, in my master lookup tab?
For each ID, there can be many names, and for each name, there can be many IDs. it's a many to many relationship.
Please see the attachment to understand better.
Thanks,
Chris
