Index & Match Formula to sum two or more lookup values that is in one column

    Hello Experts,
Please help me to write this formula:

I have a spreadsheet that ranges from A1:G285. In column 'A' i have item #, in column 'F' i have number of items sold. I need to be able to use the Index & match formula to look in column 'A' for two or more item # numbers and return their sum from column 'F'

I hope i am clear to you all.

    Thanks,
    Headley

    Hi Headley,

Your question is exactly what Pivot Tables do. See if you can apply the following example to your problem.

    you could just use
=SUM(SUMIF($A$1:$A$285,{123,456},$F$1:$F$285)) where {123,456} are your item numbers
