columns must be displayed before workbook can close

    Hi

I have a workbook in which columns on some sheets are hidden for printing purposes. The issue i have is people hide these columns and forget to unhide so information goes un-noticed.It there a way that when someone goes to shutdown the workbook that it cannot be closed unless the hidden columns are made visible. Can this only be achieved by VBA or are there non VBA ways to achieve this action?

    Thank you

    James

A simple macro can check if any column is hidden and unhide it. Have a look at the example. Try hiding any or all columns in the colored range and press the button.

This macro only works for columns A:G, additional code is required if you have more columns.
