    how to keep text but hide numbers

    Hi
    I am working on a spreadsheet where i have mutliple events in different cells and need to put the cost behind them without this showing. All the event names are different and some have quite long text. I need to use the cost number in formulas but only want to show the text. Appreciate the help.

    Put them in a column and hide the column
