computer says same size cells are not the same size

i am trying to do a custom sort on a file with 600 rows and 7 columns. i have formatted the file so that all rows are the same height and all columns are the same width. but when i try to sort them the computer says "all the merged cells need to be the same size"

Can you upload an example workbook?

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.
If posting code please use code tags, see here.

Sort (among many other things) has a problem with merged cells, you should try and avoid using merging if at all possible
    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)

If you need to have the appearance of merged cells (Center across), select the cells, right click on the selection, choose Format Cells, on the Alignment tab, horizontal, choose Center Across Selection. This will give the appearance of Merge & Center but without the complications.

Avoid all merging of cells if you can.
