Cell format 2 character value into time not date

    Hi there,

I simply wish to know if it is possible to change the format properties of a cell so that when a two digit value between 00 and 24 is entered it treats it as a time.

When I set the format properties to "hh:mm" and type the number 22 it assumes its the 22/01/1900 00:00:00 and displays 00:00.

I want to be able to enter the 2 digit number without having to put the colon.

Any ideas would be great guys.

    Hello Mutt0nJeff,

The closest custum format I can get to is to format the cell to #,##0.00;-#,##0.00 which, when you enter 13, will display the time as 13.00 instead of 13:00.

    Hope that helps.
