Printing page total and grand total

    Hi,

I'm working on doing a pilot logbook using Excel. The basic data entry is easy but I would also like to be able to print out the data in the official format, in other words with the same appearance as the logbook I fill after each flight by hand. Right now I have a worksheet to collect the data and another which is designed to look like the original logbook and collects the times etc. from the other worksheet.

At the bottom of each page there is the totals section (times and landings for example). There should be total time (or landings) of the that particular page, total from previous pages and the grand total. I haven't figured out how to accomplish this or if there is a way to do this.

For example is there a way to lock and add a certain number of rows at the bottom of each page (with formulas calculating the times mentioned above), since it's possible to repeat rows at the top of each page?

Of course it would be possible to add the design and the formulas by hand between xx number of rows to the whole file but that would be quite laborious. Also I think it would be prone to errors as you'd have to manipulate the formulas under every page.

Here's a sample of left page of the logbook:

I tried using the search function before I posted here but didn't find answers to my question. Please answer here or point me to the helpful information.

Thank you very much for your help!

    Hi FF,

    Welcome to the Forum!

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

    Remember to desensitize the data.

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.
