Extracting all column 1 data from every tab

Hi guys, I get a spreadsheet on a monthly basis and it poor quality and poor design, but thats irrelevant i cant change that. There are around 20-30 tabs all almost identicle and what i do is copy and past the first column of data from each tab onto one worksheet. Just wondered if there was a way this can be done quicker that the mundane cut and paste job!
