ActiveX and form controls stops working after formatting PC

I have some couple of functions/ macros on activex and form buttons. One function is to go to the last empty data on a column, and many others. I reformatted my PC, now the everything stops working. I understand that some files/softwares/updates were removed during reformatting I just cant tell which and how to reinstall it. For now i enabled the activex option on excel and restarted my PC, its still not working.

First of all thank you for telling me about this. To be honest, i read the forum rules because and i remember stumbling upon that part. All i can say is that i know to myself i'm being a responsible member the best that i can. Apparently this is new to me and i will promise to read the forum rules properly.

@alansidman, the solution you posted didnt worked for me. Based on that thread all i need to do is to delete all the .EXD files. I alos tried the Fix-It, it didnt worked. Also tried adding some comments on the code and compiling, probably on the last part i may not follow that properly since i have limited knowledge about programming. As per the technet blog, it is known issue to people who had a recent windows update, and the same solution is given which is deleting .EXD files.

For some reason i tried adding this step, i saved the file first into a regular excel workbook. Then save it again into macro enabled workbook. Don't know why but it work. In other word, the solution provided is correct. Others might need to add that step in case previous steps didnt fixed it.
