It's using a small amount of VBA code rather than functions. SPecifically
The first line clears the range called "InvDetails" - basically the variable cells on the invoice sheet
The second line increments the cell named "NextNo" on sheet 2 by 1
The third line is necessary since you're using merged cells and the first line clears the Address To cells hence it's necessary to reinstate the words "Address To:"
As a general principle try and avoid merging cells. They really are more trouble than they're worth and cause problems in many situations too numerous to mention here.
