Ref!Error in VLookup across 2 excel files

Hi ,
I have 2 excel files.
File A - columns C1, C2, C3
File B - columns D1, D2, D3

Using VLookup I can see the values of D1 and D2 in C1 and C2 respectively. But I added a new column D3 in File B and using VLookup, I get REF! error in File A.

Can anyone please help?

Thanks,
Mavericky

Almost impossible to guess what the problem mioght be without seeing what you are working with.

After you added the new column, did you adjust the vlookup range to include 3 columns?
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools

Oh yeah, made a silly mistake, I had forgotten to adjust my vlookup range. Thanks for the answer!
