Sorting WBS in Pivot Table

Hey all

I am trying to make a project plan with a Gantt chart (that will be using a pivot table and conditional formatting on the dates), and I am stuck as Excel 2013 is not letting me sort the WBS properly even when formatted as text.
I have attached a sample document as reference. In the sample document, I am trying to have the WBS that is calculated on the "Project Plan" tab (it uses a Macro to calculate WBS in column A based on the indenting in column B) be recalled in a Pivot Table on the "Gantt Chart" tab.

It is currently listing 1.10 before 1.2 on the Pivot table.

I know it will work in a VLOOKUP, but I am looking to have the functionality in a pivot table because of the amount of data points I am looking to have on the finished Gantt chart tab. I have tried inserting columns on the "Project Plan" tab to add a decimal to the end of every WBS number (to eliminate 1.10 vs. 1.1), and storing it as Text, neither has worked.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.

To have 1.2 listed before 1.10 and 2.1 bedore 10.3 you have to format it all as 0x.0y
so for instance in C5:

Tailor it to your needs (may be just introduce temporariliy within a macro).
Of course you could also create yout non-standard sorting list but for 4 digits (2 for project number and 2 for sub-project/task), it will contain 9000 entries
