    Entering Date & Time

    Hello Friends,

I have to enter date & time (in same cell ) for many records.
So is it possible to pre-format the column in such a way that if i enter say 140120150635 it
should take it in date & time format dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm as 14/01/2015 06:35.

Earlier I had done such thing for date & time in seperate fields but now the problem is I m not
able to do it for both combined.

    Any help ?

    Re: Entering Date & Time

Use Custom format and in the "Type" field
    enter

    00\/00\/0000 00\:00

This displays as you want it but it doesnt store it as date and time. You'll probably have to perform a calculation on the field to extract date and time separately.

Ensure you describe your problem clearly, I have little time available to solve these problems and do not appreciate numerous changes to them.
