is it possible to count the cell border lines? in a rectangular cell there are 4 border. If I color red on 3 border lines, is there a formula to show its 3?

Hi, welcome to the forum
Colors, fonts, borders etc are cosmetic formatting, not data. Excel formulas work on data, so there are no regular formulas that will do this for you - but perhaps somebody can put some VBA together to do this for you?
