Excel issues exacerbated by Windows Updates Jan 2015

I've searched for several fixes, for this issue but have not seen any [Solved] or [Fixed] messages out there for this particular set of errors.

User has been getting these error messages before the Windows Updates, but it now getting them even more so.

Open Excel spreadsheet, and (randomnly, not all the time) try to open a 2nd or 3rd spreadsheet and you get these error messages (in order).

Above are the error messages in order that I receive. And so far as I can tell on my machine it works fine I don't get a corrupt message, but it does come up on her machine. Before these messages I was getting an error on her machine about Excel can't open this as there are not enough resources to do so. When checking Performance under TaskManager the computer is only using 2.5GB's of RAM of a total of 4GB's. And the CPU is barely utilized.

To give some background, We just converted for Exchange 2013 (hosted), from Exchange 2010 (hosted, same site) and installed SecuriSync and Lync 2013. It seems that the Windows Updates were all for Lync 2013 (1/14/2015 Update Tuesday & implemented on Wed). We are seeing some slowness issues as well with Excel since the Windows Updates, but they do not seem to be related, but it's not been confirmed.

Unfortunately this lady has had her System Restore turned off, so no going back before the updates...and the Updates state "Unknown issue" when trying to uninstall. It's quite possible it may be a reimage...but not sure.

If you can manage to get the workbook open, try opening a new workbook and copying the data (select the data range rather than copying the entire sheet) to the new workbook.
