Question MATCH grabbing incorrect information. Why?

I am trying to understand why this load calculation spreadsheet is grabbing the incorrect numbers. With "Form N1" you can change the time of day, so long as you keep 9am the "Wall" sheet shows the correct "CLTD", cell "AI5" pulled off of the "KW" sheet. Once the time is changed to one of the other 3 available times the CLTD cell "AI5" pulls the data off of "KW" line 153 but pulls it from AG153 (this cell is has the text H18 and the forumla is supposed to match I12) which does not match what the formula tells it, instead it should pull from AI153 as it supposed to match I12 on MATCH. Thank you to anyone who can understand all of this.

Yikes, all those merged cells!!!! You should try to avoid merging cells if at all possible, they cause all sorts of problems with formulas

I think you left off the last argument in both of your MATCH's...
    =INDEX(KW!$A$153:$AS$161,MATCH(WallI!Y5,KW!$A$153:$A$161,0),MATCH(AK5,KW!$A$153:$AS$153,0))

Thanks, that fixed it. Yeah, the sheet was made by a guy from ACCA. We've been finding errors in the sheets and trying to correct them and make them work properly, I have to thank the guy that created this workbook though as there is a ton of data in it. Unfortunately I don't know of a way around merging the cells but keeping the sheets setup as they hold so much data and descriptions. Thank you again for your expertise in finding this error. It was strange as it found the correct values when set to 9am.

The merged cells on the WallI worksheet are not really doing anything for you other than taking up worksheet real-estate. Currently, the Database worksheet is 41 columns wide when the same result can be had I think with 11 columns. These merged cells can play havoc with calculations, sorting etc.

Here is the WallI worksheet with the merged cells removed and replaced by regular cells and titles use Format Cells, Alignment, Center Across Selection. This looks like a merged cell but isn't. This simplifies the worksheet. You might want to consider this for the rest of the workbook.....a lot of work but worth it in the end because of lack of complications.

I agree with FDibbins on his conclusion about the formulae and the fix suggested.
