I've created a basic spreadsheet for labour planning. The Original is a secure folder that only certain people have access to. What I have is place a copy of the file in another folder as read only for people to view. At the moment I have some conditional formatting and I've pasted special (as a link) so that changes to the original are reflected in the copy. This text and cell colours. What I wanted to know is there an easier way to do this? Just copy and paste the file and have the copy act as a direct mimic of the original? Without having to enter any formatting of special pasting? This is being carried out in EXCEL 2007.
