How to NOT paste in hidden rows

    Hi all,

I can only assume this is a basic question, but I'm beating my head against the desk....

I have a sheet that has 13 rows, but 3 of those rows are hidden, making 10 visible.

    After I hide the 3 rows, I enter a 1 in the quantity cell (c10) & then copy that down in c11, c12, c13....

When I =sum in row 14, I want the result of only the visible rows (total of 10), but no matter how I copy/paste the number entry of 1 from cell c10, I get a total of 13 (it's including the 3 hidden rows)

How do I get the total of ONLY the visible rows?

    Thanks !!

    1) Copy the cells you want pasted.
    2) Highlight range you want to paste in to
    3) Go to Home ribbon, Editing box, Find & Select.
    4) choose option - Go To Special
    5) bottom right of the box choose Visible Cells only.
    6) now paste.
