Is there a way to keep formatting the same, specifically row and column size, when copy/pasting a section of cells in excel? Basically, I have a page formatted the way I want it and now want to duplicate it in the same sheet. Any thoughts?

Hey Bibleguy;
Of course there is!
There are a couple of ways to accomplish this.
After you've copied your data to the clipboard, instead of doing the Ctrl + V to paste, use Alt, E, S. (sequential) This will being up the Paste Special bar. Here, you can select exactly what you want to paste from the original array. You can select the formats, the values, whatever you want that apply!
Alternative!
On 2007, check out the Home ribbon, and on the far left, next to the copy/paste area, there is a paintbrush. This is the Format Painter. Clicking on this, and then selecting the formatted array that you want to copy will allow you to paste that formatting to another area. I'm not sure of an alternative way to explain it if that didn't make sense, but if you play with it, I'm sure you'll see what I mean.
Going for Guru! Click the Star to the bottom left of this post if I helped!
Thanks for the suggestions, however neither one affected the size of the rows and columns, which is what I'm really after. With the normal paste function all the formatting stayed the same except for the height of the rows and the width of the columns. Any other ideas? I am on Excel 2003 by the way, if that helps.
I use a mac's version of office not sure if that makes a difference, but I had to do a special paste with just column withs and then do a regular paste with the date. That was the only way I could paste the info with out it changing the cell with.
