Linking 1 column in 2 sheets (if I insert rows in sheet #1 they appear in sheet #2)

Should be easy but I haven't found any answer to this.

Column A of Sheet1 is a list of product names. The rest of the columns in Sheet1 have information about the product.

I want to have an inventory in Sheet2 of all products contained in Column A of Sheet1.

How can I link Column A of Sheet 2 with Column A of Sheet 1 so that if I insert a new product in Sheet1 that row will automatically appear in Sheet 2?

    Thanks!

Put this in cell A1 of sheet2 =Sheet1!A:A then copy down to all needed cells.

Thanks, but if I do that, I have to drag the formula in Sheet2 with extra cells in case I add new rows in Sheet 1, because if I don't and I only drag the amount in the Sheet1, 20 rows for example, when I add a row in Sheet1, the last row in Sheet2 will dissappear.

Sorry, didn't notice that would happen and haven't figured out how to resolve it.

I got it! Put this formula in Sheet2 A1 =(Sheet1!A:A) then highlight column A on sheet2 and paste. This will add the formula to all the cells in column A. You may have to use CF to get rid of the 0's on sheet 2
