Formula for a clock timer

Does anyone know if it's possible to have one cell contain a clock with a running timer that has presets? Ideally I'd like to have a sheet with a cell where you enter how long of a continuous resetting timer and then in another cell the results of the first cell with the clock ticking down. Also, if this is possible is there a way to added a start/stop button?
