I am trying to help a friend build a construction estimating spreadsheet and am not if what he wants is possible. I don't mind researching the steps to do this, but I am not sure if it's even possible.

His goal is to have a quote sheet automatically populated based on information entered on another tab. I figured out how to use VLOOKUP to display the data in a particular cell on the quote sheet tab, but I want to try to condense the data if possible.

Two examples:

1- The customer does wants kitchen and bathroom remodeling done. The form would look like:
Lines 10-20 details about the kitchen remodel. Lines 21-40 details about the bathroom remodel.

2- The customer does NOT want kitchen remodeling done, only bathroom.

I want to know if I could 'move' that Bathroom only remodeling details up to Line 10. (Or even if it said, "Kitchen Remodel - N/A)

Even if someone could provide me a couple search terms about ways this might be accomplished, I would really appreciate it.
