How to combine specific sheets from workbooks dropped into a folder.

    Hi,

Until recently all of my school's attendance figures, teacher payclaims, etc were written by hand and faxed to HQ at the end of the month. This was time consuming, frustrating and error-prone. I put together an Excel workbook that took away most of the teachers' pain but the HQ office staff still have to process the figures by hand. How can I automate this for them?

Two examples of the workbook are attached. They're the same except for the teacher names. Each workbook has two sheets, Payclaim and Attendance, with all of the data in the Attendance sheet being read automatically from the Payclaim sheet. I want to combine all of the Payclaim sheets into a monthly workbook with one cumulative Attendance sheet. Could there be a folder with some kind of code attached that the teachers' workbooks can be dropped into as they arrive each month? I have no idea how to insert code so a link to some of the basics in this area would be appreciated too.

    Many thanks in advance.

    Regards,
    Rob
