Good day,
When using find and replace, is there a way to Find All but replace only part of the results eg if I find 644 results can I replace 600 at one and leave the remaining 44 as before?

Yes, but you'll need to provide us with representative examples of what you DO want to change and what you don't.
On the basis of 1 example, the formula
=--mid (A1,2, len (A1))
will give 44 from 644; but it probably wont work for a more detailed list.

Using find and replace (Ctrl + H) I can find all the instances of a number or text and replace them with something else eg, find all instances of February 2013 and replace them with January 2015.
I want to know if I can find all but replace only part of the results. As it stands now, I can either replace all or replace one.

Then you did not understand the question of Glenn Kennedy well enough.
If I understand it, he asked you to provide an excel example, without confidential information.
Please also add the desired result in your file.
After that it is much easier to forummembers to provide an good answer.

In my attached file, I need to find all instances of Mar-13 and change some of them to Jan-14. I can change them by selecting each instances one by one and replacing with Jan-14. Can I select multiple instances and replace them all at once?
Type the replacement text into a cell and copy it (CTRL-C). Then, with the \CTRL button held down, select (left click) all the cells you want to replace. Then use CTRL-V to replace.
That will be a lot of work for a file that has 600 instances scattered randomly through out the work sheet. I want to know if there is a way to do it with the Find and Replace function.
Select all cells (click in the cell in the left side, between the A and between the 1).
Then CTRL + H
find 1-3-2013
replace by 1-3-2014
replace all
I want to replace some of the cells not all of them. That is, I want to replace some of Mar-13 with Jan-14, not all.

And how do you define, which cells needs to be changed?
