I know this is super general and not very helpful without specifics -- but I'm hoping somebody could let me know some general reasons why something like this might occur so I don't have to go through and remove all the sensitive information in the spreadsheet to post here.

Basically, my workbook has a sheet where (just like all the other sheets within the workbook) the column data doesn't extend past AG (and nothing past row 336) -- but for some reason the bottom horizontal scrollbar is super small so I can scroll very quickly to the final column (XFD) very quickly. But since there's no data past AG, I would like for the horizontal scroll to incorporate that -- because when I send this report out to much less tech-savvy people, I want to make sure they don't have a difficult time scrolling left-and-right to see all the data (don't want to give them any excuse to not look at this).

Some things about this spreadsheet:
  • It has multiple sheets (no others with similar data are having this problem);
  • I use conditional formatting on a lot of it (but none go beyond Column AG);
  • I also use subtotals for a lot, if that helps; and
  • I've highlighted everything from Column AH to the right and tried "Clear >> All," but it did nothing.

Looks like this:

All others look like this:

Hope that was enough for some ideas! Thanks for the help.
