Attendance Spreadsheet Tracking Points for Absences, Etc.

I need help!

I need to create a spreadsheet to track absences etc. but using a point system. I have listed my companies policies on attendance. Can someone please create a spreadsheet for me to use?

I have no clue what to do with this but my boss wants a spreadsheet created so I can track it accurately. Please help!

Type Of Absence Points Assigned

Reported Absence- First Day 1

Reported Absence - Each Succeeding 1/2

Tardiness or Early Departure 1/4
(less than 1 hour missed)

Tardiness or Early Departure 1/2
(1 to 4 hours missed)

Tardiness or Early Departure 1
(4.01 hours or more missed)

Unreported Absence 3

Tardiness Reported More Than 1 Hour Late 3

Also, I need it to be able to date it as well. I'd like to track what days they missed etc. And it would be nice to add a reason why they were absence, late, etc too.

I guess so. I have to keep a daily tracking. So month to month would probably be best.

Also, once they have gone one month without any recorded occurences, they lose 1 point.

It's okay. I just don't like the colors. I need something simple and easy to read. But I really need a spreadsheet that is ready for me to use. I know nothing about Excel.

Let's try names horizontal and dates vertical?

Also, I need a column that will track their total points accumulated. So, we have points accumulated on Jan 1st and Jan 2nd for Employee C , maybe a row that will total their accumulations?

At the end of the month, if an employee has accumulated a running total and they have not missed any days in that month. They get rewarded back a point.

Great spreadsheet!!! Could you create a similar spreadsheet but separate "Tardiness" from "Early" and for each of new fields (and sub fields) give points for every 30 minutes.
Then also add "Off Duty" & "Annual Leave" fields which will carry zero (0) points.

The new fields will look like this:

Valid Tardiness = 30mins increments carry .25pts
Plausible Tardiness = 30mins increments carry .5pts
Invalid Tardiness = 30mins increments carry 1pts
Valid Early Departure = 30mins increments carry .25pts
Plausible Early Departure = 30mins increments carry .5pts
Invalid Early Departure = 30mins increments carry 1pts
Off Duty = 0 points
Annual Leave = 0 points

"Present", "Reported Absence" & "Unreported Absence" will remain with the following points respectively (0 points, 0.5 points, 5 points with "Reported Absence" increasing by 0.5 points every 30 minutes and "Unreported Absence" increasing by 1 point every 30 mins).
