    Lookup table or other?

    I really need help.

In the attached file, I have two worksheets; "Tab1" and "Table"

In the "Tab 1" workseet, cell 25L, there is a % that has been calculated. What I need to do is have cells 43 J,K,L and 49 J, K, L and 56 J,K,L look at that percentage, refer to worksheet "Table" and look at the "decline rate %" (based on the % in "Tab 1"worksheet) and return the corresponding data from columns F and I.

I will eventually have about 60 worksheets that this formula will need to be copied to.

Please let me know if clarification is needed.

    Thanks!

You have three columns you are looking to fill with data from the sheet table, yet you have indicated that data is only to be retrived from two columns.

How will the data for rows 43, 49 and 56 differ. I don't believe you have given us enough information or I am not understanding your request. Please clarify and also provide the values you expect the lookup to return so that we can better understand your issue.

    Sorry.

The resulting % in cell 25L in sheet "Tab1" is used to determine the % to be used in sheet "table" column A. Row 43 J/K/L should populate with the "Prescribed PWF" multiplier (column C),i.e., a 23% decline rate equals a 1.801 PWF. Next, the Row 49 J/K/L will pull the correspondind dollar amount from column "F"; in this case, the amount would be $76,500. Lastly, the corresponding amount from column "I" will be used to populate 56 J/K/L; or $5,900.

    Thanks!

    1. you need to change the table column A to be formatted as a percentage.
    2. You cannot have a range such as 0-5 and 50-100 as cell values. It will need to have the exact values.
    3. Use the vlookup function as shown in the file attached.
