Strip out numbers only from text (include ".")

    Hi,

I have a number of cells which contain a numbering convention followed by a question. I would like to strip out only the number element if possible. The added twist is that I need it to include the “.” E.g.

    1.2.3 abcdefghijkl would become 1.2.3

    I have uploaded an example.

    Can anyone help please?
