Filling in blank cells in a col of data - possibly Trend or Forecast?

    Hi Excel Forum.

This is my first post to the forum for a little help. Hopefully it will be easy to help me out?

I have a small spreadsheet with 2 columns. One is date. The other is my INR (blood thickness).
The problem is I do not take my INR every day - Probably once a week or so. So the in between cells I am currently guessing (On the attached Blue).
I am sure there is a better way to approximate the blank cells - a mathmatical trend between the 'Real' data (Black on the attachment)?

So on the attached file I have 3 columns of data:
    Date
INR - with 'Real' readings in Black and 'Guessed' readings in Blue.
INR - with just 'Real' readings and gaps to be filled with some magical function?

I did try to look this subject up on the forum but was unsure how to word the search.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Regards...jules
