Talking If Then Statement using multiple criteria

    Hello Excel Guru's,

I am trying to fill in the column labeled department and department 2 from a certain criteria. The criteria is on the left and I don't want to use a vlookup, I assume I could use a if than statment. Does anyone know how I can write this formula? I basically want it to say if the *** is the same, the age is the same than use the correlating department and the same for department 2. Thanks for helping.

Well. In E5, enter the formula with Ctrl + Shift + Enter keys together, then fill the formula down and across

    =INDEX(J$6:J$13,MATCH($C5&$D5,$H$6:$H$13&$I$6:$I$13,0))

    Re: IF Then Help

If I understood this correctly, paste into E5 and drag across/down:
