    Post Performance of Excel

    Hi All,

I am new to this excel.

I have a situation here, I have a dashboard running on excel.

On the summary of dashboard i have Country, State, City and Region radio buttons. When ever i click on the radio button and select required name of city etc from the list, it takes time to calculate, means for all selection it takes around 3 min. Size of excel is 6 MB and data is fetching through HLookup.

Please suggest what will be the faster method to make my excel performance better and efficiently?

Also there are many sheets i have above excel.

    Re: Performance of Excel

    Some suggestions/questions:-

Save the file in xlsb format (binary) and see performance of your workbook.
Is there any volatile functions used in your formulas?
For how many rows/cells the formula is applied?

Still don't know what combination of functions are used.

But it clearly states that you applied it on huge range

Keep the Calculation in Manual and use F9 to calculate whenever needed

    Re: Performance of Excel

The Function is used simple HLOOKUP.

Every button selected it will populate the next list, and on next it will select next sub list.

I have to find a way in automatic calculation.
