Excel 2007 is overriding the default file association of Excel 2013

I have both Excel 2007 (32bit) & Excel 2013 (64bit) installed and the reason I have to use both versions is because one program is ONLY compatible with Excel 2007.

I'm trying to make Excel 2013 the default program in which Excel files open with but for some reason it's ignoring what I do and instead it's opening them with excel 2007.

I've both manually attempted via Right Click > Open with > Browse to Excel 2013 and set the file association via Excel > Options > Defaults but neither is working.

Anyone know whats up and how to fix it?

Nope, because Visual Fox Pro OLEDB is only compatible with 32bit versions of excel :P

Hmm, that works but as soon as I launch Excel 2007 for the Fox Pro stuff, I get the error: http://i.imgur.com/oU7BDFo.png which then requires me to repair office 2007... which resets the file association and an endless loop of having to do it happens lol
