Unhappy When I select a cell it selects THREE rows of that cell???

I guess that's the whole question...I've already been working with a spreadsheet that I've personalized. Suddenly, when I select a cell it selects THREE rows of that cell???

How do these things just seem to "happen" in Excel?
I did not change one single thing that I know of.

    Thanks,
    Kelly

Maybe this cell is merged into 3 cells.

    Thank you!
Do you know how to turn off a merged cell?
Or how it got turned on?

(And the whole document must be merged somehow because no matter where I click, that's what happens...)

On Home menu you can see "Merge & Center" button, just click on/off it

It doesn't let me do that for the whole document?

Select whole cells (click on to the intersection btw rows and columns) or select discontigous cells (keep holding Ctrl key while choose cells) then click on that Merge button
