    Std dev ifs?

I used an AVERAGEIFS function for a range of data. I also want to show Standard Deviation, but it's very difficult to show because there is no formula for STDDEV.PIFS, so I can't use the same data set (which is obviously necessary).

anyone know of any good alternatives?

    Hi.

You can use an array formula with STDEV.P. e.g.:

    =STDEV.P(IF(A1:A10="A",IF(B1:B10="B",IF(C1:C10="C",IF(ISNUMBER(D1:D10),D1:D10)))))

    Regards

**Array formulas are not entered in the same way as 'standard' formulas. Instead of pressing just ENTER, you first hold down CTRL and SHIFT, and only then press ENTER. If you've done it correctly, you'll notice Excel puts curly brackets {} around the formula (though do not attempt to manually insert these yourself).
