    Extract Data from List

I have a simple inventory list as shown in table A1:D8. The user enters the quantity required in column E. I would like these chosen items to appear in a second set of tables according to the Category of the product.

The double criteria is confusing me (non-zero Qty and category). Any helpers?

    Regards, Paul

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

Array enter means the formula must be committed by simultaneously pressing and holding down Ctrl and Shift while hitting Enter.

    The re-worked workbook is attached.

Thanks for your great answer. Now I need to use it in my real spreadsheet

I am struggling to understand how this part of the formula works and am sure it is the reason I can not get it to work in my spreadsheet.

    ),rwCnt),ROWS($1:1)),COLUMNS($A:A)),"")

    Thanks, Paul

My apologies... my bad.....I used Name Manager for some ranges and forgot to find & replace with the ranges. The formula is
    Formula: copy to clipboard

    Still array-entered.
