commision calculation per day and daily reports

please solve my problem ,


i need to fix the commissions for total premiums by daily each sales person i mentioned in excel sheet by date

now i need to prepare a daily sales report for the column C5(sales person) how much they paid net amount daily in the sheet2

Hi,

I used the following features: Tables and Pivot Tables. Easy to use and very quick. Look into them on what they can really do.

See the attachment on how I solved your problem. Book1a(1).xlsx

First, I changed your data in sheet one as a Table. This will make your pivot table automatically update when you add more information at the bottome of the Table.
Second, I created the Pivot Table.

When you add more data, you have to "refresh" the Pivot Table (right click inside the Pivot Table, the Refresh).

thank you for your support,this will help me more, but still i have a doubt, in excel sheet for the column sales person how you create seperate row in pivot table

Let me try and explain.

There are different Report Layouts and I used the Tabular Form. (defaults to the Compact Form)

If you click on the any cell in the pivot table, a PivotTable Tools tab should appear (in pink in my system). hoose the Design tab and under Layout, there is Report Layout. Choose Show in Tabular Form.

To fill in the dates, right click on the date heading and choose Field Settings...
Then under the Layout & Print tab, check the Repeat item labels.
