Is there an easy way in Excel to have multiple lines of text in a single cell? I don't mean wrapping text, but independent lines -- that is, something that acts like what used to called a carriage return. Hitting Enter of course takes you to the next cell, but what I want to do is something like three or four independent lines of text, like a name, street address and city and state on separate lines in the same cell, for example. I can do it by using the space bar after the item in the first line, for example, and spacing to the end of the cell, after which it will drop down to the next line in the same cell, and thje same for successive lines in this cell. This works but is a little cumbersome. I am looking for a single key stroke that would take you to successive lines in the same cell (some shorter, some perhaps the width of the whole cell.)

Thanks
