different categories in a data table

Hello. I have a data table that I'm using for a pivot table (spreadsheet attached). I have a number of categories in column 1, then dates in column 2 and values for each category in column C. In Column D, I have sales. The only problem is that for each month there is only x amount of sales and not sales for each of the categories (it's a different comparison). When I pivottable this stuff it adds up all of the closings so they are multiplied by however many categories there are for each month. How can I get around this? Spreadsheet attached.

However, your question does not clear to me its just that you mentioned what you looking to have so I have placed the data in pivot accordingly. I would really appreciate if you can be clear what exactly you want.
