    Re: Index Small Row Formula

    Hi Kumar,
    thank you for your reply,

    sorry for late response,

if its looks from the attachment file,
i need to sort the nationality name on cells V25:V44 by biggest 20 contribution on cells V4:V23 as a criteria,
but when it found same criteria for the example on cell V20 and V21,
it takes the same nationality (cells V42 and V43),

    could you fix it please,

    Hi,

    You only need to apply
    Formula: copy to clipboard
Please Login or Register to view this content.
on Cell V25 and so on......
There is no mistake on your formula just you are not familiar with data normalization, data sorting or any other process. Let me explain....
See the cell W21 and W22 has the same data so Vlookup will have the same result for both of them, however they are in ascending order like 17,16,15,15,14 but since vlookup will just look for the match it will stuck on the first 1.
In column B,C,D you could have multiply all the digit with 0.00000001,0.00000002,0.00000003 so on it will be distinct but in round figure 2 will have the same result......
