I am not very experienced in excel and am trying to create a communications calendar which can have multiple entries per day and can have entries colour coded to show the type of person the communication is going to (customer, internal etc.). I have used the calendar from the thread 'Auto-Populate Calendar Dates' (attached below) and this has worked really well for the multiple entries. However, since calendar month is selected by choosing from a drop down list, when I try to colour code a cell the colour is then cell specific rather than event specific. For example, if I highlight a communication going out on April 22nd, then look at May, that same cell in May is highlighted as well, even if there is no data in that cell.
Is there a way to use conditional formatting to colour code the events in the calendar?
