    Dynamic Chart which has VLookups

    Hi there,
I was wondering if somebody would be able to help me.
I have a chart which I am trying to update automatically with the data from columns A & B which is looking up to the data from columns O and P in grey.
Is there anyway this can be done so that the line on the table stops at the point of the most recent sales number (in this case week 12)
If I'm not making sense, please let me know I'm happy to answer any questions!
    Thanks so much.
    Sam

    Hi Burgie,

I wonder why are you keeping two different column and looking for the same information from columns O & P to Col A & B. As i if you keep the original list as it is, your purpose will be resolved and the line of the chart will be stopped at Week (as week12 is last week which is containing sales figure). Hope this make sense.

    Regards,
    Thanks

Hi there thanks for your reply. It is because there are vlookups in columns A and B. It is a simplified version of the sheet that I am working on which will need the chart to be populated as and when the vlookup in column a and b gets more and more updated data.
In this case to make it more simple I have put the data input (in grey) on the same tab but it's the on a different tab on the actual sheet.
Is what I am after not possible?
    Thanks!

    Hello
One way would be to create a couple of dynamic named ranges, for example 'Sales':

and for the X axis 'Week':

    Apply these to your chart.

If you have your data in a TABLE, and the chart is based on that table, as you add data to the table, the chart will update automatically.
