Hey guys please help me quick, I need to submit this tomorrow.
How do I do individual error bars in Excel 2013?
When I add chart element - error bars, I get them for all data points.
But I only want it for two different data points, both with a different custom value.
It is a scatter plot.
Please help
Hi there... and welcome to the Excel Forum. Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.
Remember to desensitize the data.
Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

Try going to format error bars and then custom.

Great mrice, thank you that's what I needed.
Now I have one more problem - my error bar is really tiny in comparison to the values, thus it is hardly visible.
Any suggestions on how I can make it more visible?
There are formatting options for error bars accessible via right click such as fill and thickness.
