Inventory, barcodes, and hiding rows.

I have an inventory spreadsheet with four columns.

ITEM : AUTHORIZE : ON HAND : ISSUE : COMMENTS

The scannable barcodes have been pasted into the comments column as images. There are currently 52 of them.

What happens is that the ITEM queries a VLOOKUP table to get the ON HAND amount.

AUTHORIZE is a static number that rarely changes. Once the ON HAND has been inserted it is subtracted from AUTHORIZE and the result is placed in the ISSUE column.

The COMMENTS has a barcode image pasted onto the cell. The idea is when the parts are pulled from the warehouse they can be scanned out right there. Or a comment can be handwritten if needed.

The problem:

I would like to filter out all the rows with a zero in the ISSUE column. So, when I apply the filter the majority of the rows will hide. And, the majority of the barcodes hide with their respective row. But, somewhere near the end a few barcodes wont hide along with the rows and so will be in the wrong place. That kills the notion of only printing one page instead of thee to five pages.

I've checked each images properties and all appear to have the same properties except size as some codes are longer or shorter. The failure to hide seems to happen in the last half a dozen or so parts, usually. So far there is only one that fails to hide no matter what. And I cannot find anything different about it.

A sample of your workbook would certainly be helpful.
Here are directions:

Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to demonstrate your need. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are shown, mock them up manually if necessary.

The inventory software generates barcodes as an image. You have a menu where you can print about 45 pages of barcodes. You cannot copy/paste them though. I used the snipping tool in win7 then pasted it to the cell.

Column E is Comments. On the hard copy if the item is Not In Stock I'll make a note there so they know the request wasn't overlooked. Or, the requester might have something special to add. As far as the spreadsheet is concerned the last column is merely where the image of the barcode is pasted. The idea being that we pull the item from stock and instead of looking up the item in a book we can immediately scan it. The ideal solution would be to find the specific barcode font and simply type in the part number. So far I am having no luck finding the specific barcode font.

LOL aint that the truth. Setting up the table to look up quantities was easy. Getting the math done was easy. But the picture is worth a thousand words. Cuss words that is.

I discoverede that the images will stack with hidden ones under the unhidden. To do that you must ensure that all of the image is inside the cell borders. I resized and moved several images and it began to work much better.

I also tried several barcode fonts. Apparently there is more to barcoding than I was aware of since none of them scanned. But, the freeware scanner in the above link at least helped me to identify the specific barcode iteration. Thank you for that. And, I do appreciate all the responses.
